ADVentura Cigars is a cooperation between Henderson Ventura of Tabacalera William Ventura in Dominican Republic and Marcel Knobel, of Switzerland. Henderson is considered the youngest master-blender in the industry and responsible for the blends of some the most well-known brands on the market today. Marcel is a cigar retailer, tobacconist, and certified wine sommelier with a background in marketing. Together, the goal is to personify Dominican Passion and Swiss Precision with ADVentura Cigars.
For Henderson, being a boutique brand is all about the ability to secure more rare and smaller quantity tobaccos that mainstream brands would never dream of having. Blend wise, it gives us creative freedom, and competitive edge.
For Marcel, maintaining brand awareness with visual consistency is key. While he and Henderson create and refine blends together,
Marcel continues developing chapters of the ADV story with each new launch, to keep the smoker engaged and excited with all the senses.
ADVentura retells the story of the origin of tobacco from the old world to new and back again with, The Explorer, The Navigator, The Conqueror, The Royal Return, and now the chapters turn a bit darker and more aggressive with the NEW Barbarrojas Invasion.

The NEW Barbarrojas Invasion takes a darker more aggressive turn in tales of ADV & McKay, with world domination in mind. This medium plus smoke invades the palate with nougat, and sweet wood with hints of black pepper. Taste it or pay the price!

The blend is seemingly fit for a king, including a hearty Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés binder, and multinational fillers from the Dominican Republic, USA, and Nicaragua. These specially selected leaves have been aged for five years before being rolled, followed up with an additional four months aging post roll.

The fourth line developed by ADV & McKay to share the culmination of adventures thus far. These treasures tell the stories without a single word spoken. ADVentura the Royal Return Queen’s Pearls offers aromas of sweet wood, vanilla creme, and hazelnut. This is an ADV interpretation of a classic Connecticut smoke. We used a select series of tobaccos that received special fermentation stay light on the palate, but allows the flavour to linger long after the puff or retro hale.

ADVentura, Piece of Heart
ADVentura Gives Back with their Piece of Heart Launch.
Piece of Heart is a project benefitting kids in the Dominican Republic whose families live and work in and near the factory producing ADVentura Cigars. It began as a promotion only available to the European market with the efforts of providing children of tabacaleras with eye glasses. The premise of this project was those that see better, learn better. It did so well in Europe that ADVentura thought, Why stop at eyeglasses when we can provide kids with school supplies, and beyond! They needed to think bigger.
